Steve is a Michigan native, but spent years living as a musician in Chicago. With over 15 years of songwriting and dozens of collaborations under his belt as a prominent vocalist and guitar wizard, Mr. Leaf is a musical force to be reckoned with. With much of his music being self recorded and produced, his melodically powerful songs cover the timeless topics of 'love' and 'love lost' as well as whatever currently inspires the songwriting engine within.
