Winter Happenings @ Borrowed Time
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
We've officially had our first snowfall in Saugatuck, making our front room feel extra cozy for sipping wine. We've added a soup of the day, warm bruschettas, and savory flatbreads to pair with the chill of the season and our growing list of bourbons. Our small craft cocktail menu features some really unique spirits mindfully prepared, and we'll be serving up Swedish Glogg, a secret family recipe, after Thanksgiving.
We still have room in our upcoming 12/2 chef tasting dinner for the 8:15pm seating. Jay and Becky Mullins of Golden Brown Co. have crafted a seasonally appropriate menu to warm your belly and your soul, with help from our wine pairings. You can reserve your seats below!
To the important stuff: our NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION! We're teaming up with Golden Brown Co. yet again to create a magical evening full of good food, great friends, festive cocktails, and more in our cozy living room. We're dressing up our monthly tasting dinner to ring in the new year, with a traditional 6pm seating and an party-worthy 9pm seating. Details and tickets below, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 269.455.5256 with any questions.

Looking to 2017: February Local Chef Series
We'll have more details to come, but we've been lucky enough to invite some of the best local culinary talent into our kitchen for a night of really really good cooking. For one night each week in February, a local chef will take over our kitchen and cook up a 5-course tasting menu of all of their favorite dishes. Tickets will be available early December and more information on each chef is forthcoming.
Lastly, we'd love to hear from you. What types of activities/events would you like to see us hold at Borrowed Time? Have you enjoyed the chef tastings we've held so far? We've heard interest in a Euchre night, keeping board games on hand, wine/painting, etc.. The possibilities are endless, we'd love your help narrowing down these interests so we can give a few a try and see if they take off. Feel free to anonymously give your suggestions/feedback below, though we'd love to know who to give the credit to when we host your killer event.
